Jennifer Schmidt, OTR/L
FOUNDER & Owner Pediatric Occupational TherapistJennifer brings more than 32 years of occupational therapy experience working with children and adults in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, home healthcare, and school settings. For the past 20 years, she has focused her career on serving children and families in public and private schools, homes, and on community outings throughout Palm Beach County to help children build brighter futures.
Jennifer is highly experienced in working with children with varying exceptionalities and has a passion for collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals. She provides education and training and creates personalized materials- including visual schedules, behavior charts, and other practical visual supports- to promote her clients’ independence, confidence, and success at home and school.
As a certified Handwriting Without Tears specialist with expertise in sensory integration, adaptive equipment, 504 accommodations and IEP-related needs, Jennifer uses multisensory strategies to strengthen handwriting, academic goals, executive functioning abilities, and functional life skills. Jennifer’s extensive experience in behavior management and social-skills training also allows her to provide personalized, practical support for children, families, and educators across home, school, and community environments.
Stephanie Kiper, MOT, OTR/L
Stephanie joined OT & Beyond in 2021 and brings a strong background in pediatric sensory integration, academic support, and executive functioning coaching using the principles of occupational therapy. Her previous experience working in a pediatric sensory integration clinic allows her to apply specialized strategies to support the sensory, behavioral, and learning challenges children may experience in school, home, and other environments.
Stephanie has a gift for creating fun, engaging, therapeutic activities tailored to each child’s individual needs and abilities. She is skilled at quickly adapting treatment activities to meet children at their current level while addressing their specific goals.
As a former Division I athlete, Stephanie brings determination, discipline, and a strong work ethic to her practice. Her compassionate, dedicated, and resourceful approach enhances each session, while her excellent communication skills allow her to collaborate effectively with families, teachers, and school staff to support each child’s success.

Madison Miller, COTA
Pediatric occupational therapy assistantMadison began working with Jennifer as a classroom assistant, where her experiences inspired her to pursue a career as a certified occupational therapy assistant. She has been part of the OT & Beyond team for the past three years and previously worked in a specialized school serving children with autism and related disabilities.
Madison’s patience, high energy, and creativity make her especially effective when working with preschool and elementary-aged children. She enjoys creating fun, hands-on therapeutic activities that keep children motivated and engaged while addressing their individual developmental and functional goals.
Her caring, empathetic, and calm approach helps children feel comfortable and supported as they develop greater confidence and independence. Madison values building positive relationships with children, families, teachers, and other members of the educational team to promote each child’s success across environments.
